Post production edit:

While creating my post production edit, I have considered the camera angles, music, lighting and sounds going to be used. The final edit used here was created by Liam Atherton, as it was completed and included the animation. This was created in Adobe Premiere Pro.

I made a lot of progress on my own final edit, but due to syncing issues, I was unable to finish my edit in time. As well as this, I was also encountering several issues on after effects, such as rendering issues (random green frames) and also low quality frames.

In terms of my own edit, I included a variety of transitions and effects to make the ad look more professional - I have included several effects, transitions, cuts and shots to make the entire ad flow and stay consistent throughout. These effects include zooms (in and out) and slide transitions, along with slow zooms between scenes to show movement throughout (I included this style of movement in every clip so that the ad does not look stiff). I also included a selection of colour correction effects to edit the lighting of the clips.

In terms of editing the lighting in my final edit, I used colour correction effects that are available to use on After Effects - I used the effect Colorama, which is a bright colourful effect that changes the colours of the frames. Because of the intensity of this effect, I blended the effect with the original clip to 85% so that it was enough to change the lighting of the clip to set the theme.

In terms of editing the lighting, I imported a solid shape using Layer > New > Shape layer and changed the colour to a desaturated pastel pink. I did this to make the opening scene appear as warm and comforting for the viewer. to edit the settings of the lighting (and to make it appear more fitting) I changed the blending mode to lighten (control click the layer > blending mode > lighten) and lowered the opacity to 30% to make the clips in the background more visible. The lower opacity makes the lighting more realistic and simple, without heavy editing it looks like natural warm lighting.

In terms of the use of audio, I used a copyright free song made by Toby Fox - I used this song due to copyright and advertising regulations. I used audio effects in clips and between transitions; I included a sound effect of paper being scrunched up, as that clip did not include any audio. I also used zoom sound effects between the transitions from animation to real life to make the transition seem extreme.
